Create a Custom Bill in iSAP Wallet (Soft POS)

Turn your phone into a point of sale — no card terminal needed.

Soft POS replaces a physical card terminal with your phone. You create a bill in the app, the customer scans a QR code, and the payment is confirmed — useful for services, custom amounts, or anywhere a fixed menu doesn't apply.

Step by step

1. Open Soft POS from the wallet home screen and select Create Bill.
2. Choose the bill type. Simple for a single amount, Itemized to break the charge into line items.
3. Enter description, amount and currency. Customer information, discount and tax are all optional.
4. Create the bill to generate it along with its QR code.
5. Share Scan to Pay. The customer scans the code with their phone to complete payment.

What is Soft POS in the iSAP Wallet?

Soft POS turns the app into a point-of-sale tool. Instead of a card terminal, you create a bill in the app, the customer scans a QR code, and payment is confirmed automatically. No additional hardware is required.

What is the difference between a Simple and an Itemized bill?

A Simple bill records a single description and amount, useful for a quick charge. An Itemized bill breaks the total into individual line items, useful when a customer wants to see exactly what they are paying for.

Do I need the customer's details to create a bill?

No. Customer name, phone number and email are optional. A bill can be created and paid with just a description, an amount and a currency.

Can I add a discount or tax to a bill?

Yes. Both are optional fields when creating the bill. A discount can be set as a flat amount or a percentage, and tax is entered as a percentage applied to the total.

How does the customer actually pay?

Once the bill is created, iSAP Wallet generates a QR code on a Scan to Pay screen. The customer scans it with their phone, and the QR code carries the reference and amount needed to complete the payment.

What does Expires In (Minutes) control?

How long the generated QR code stays valid before the bill needs to be recreated. This prevents an old, already-shown QR code from being used for a new charge later.

Can I cancel a bill after creating it?

Yes, from the Bill Details screen using Cancel Bill, for as long as the bill has not yet been paid.

Is this the same as the Digital Menu feature?

No. The digital menu is for browsing items and ordering at a table. Soft POS is for creating a one-off charge directly, useful for services, custom amounts or situations without a fixed menu.
